God speaks to his anointed Cyrus, promising empowerment to subdue nations and open gates. He also promises to break barriers and reveal hidden treasures so the world may know He is the God of Israel.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the Neville lens, the LORD is your I AM, and the anointed is the state of your own consciousness. To say 'to Cyrus' is to name the inner state you presently call forth into activity. The right hand held by the I AM is your decision, your assured point of action, going before you to subdue the ‘nations’—the fears, doubts, and conditions of your outer life. The loins of kings loosened means you loosen the power structures of belief that bind results to time or circumstance. When the two-leaved gates are opened and not shut, you witness perception widening, opportunities appearing where there were walls. The prophecy that the gates of brass are broken and bars of iron cut away is not distant geography but the inner demolition of mental resistance. And the treasures of darkness, the hidden riches of secret places, are the wealth of insight, resources, and creative power that reveal themselves as you persist in feeling that you are the I AM, the God of Israel in action within you. This is the self’s victory, proof that consciousness is God in operation.
