Remembering The I Am Within

Isaiah 44:21-23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 44 in context

Scripture Focus

21Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
22I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
23Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
Isaiah 44:21-23

Biblical Context

God speaks to Jacob and Israel as inner states, naming them as formed servants who shall not be forgotten. He promises blotting out of transgressions and a return to Him, because redemption has already been accomplished.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this oracle, Jacob and Israel are not places but states of consciousness arising in you. God speaks as the I Am, the unwavering awareness that remembers and sustains you. When He says you are not forgotten, He is naming the truth that your real self cannot be erased by yesterday's error; the cloud of guilt dissolves as you attend to the I Am and know you are eternally formed and cherished. The blotting out of transgressions is not history erased by force, but the mind's decision to revoke the past by reviving the present certainty of redemption. Return unto me is a revision of your inner alignment, a turning back to the level of consciousness where you are already redeemed. The heavens sing, the earth resounds, and the mountains and trees reflect your newborn state because this inner act of redemption has occurred. God has glorified Himself in Israel by awakening your true identity. Rest in this: you are the redeemed, you are remembered, you are held by the Father within the I Am.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume the feeling of being the I Am; declare 'I am redeemed and not forgotten,' and allow that feeling to dissolve every cloud of guilt. Then carry that sense through the day by acting from the remembered state.
