Inner Sight of the I Am

Isaiah 40:27-28 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 40 in context

Scripture Focus

27Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
28Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
Isaiah 40:27-28

Biblical Context

Isaiah 40:27-28 reassures that God is not hidden or distant; the everlasting God is the Creator who does not tire and whose understanding is beyond measure.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this ancient cry, you are allowed to suspect that your life is hidden from the I AM. Yet the truth of the verse is that the I AM within you is the ever-present, tireless designer of every moment of your experience. Jacob and Israel are states of consciousness, not distant tribes; when you say, my way is hid from the Lord, you are simply believing that your inner path escapes awareness. The Creator of the ends of the earth is the Infinite I AM that already knows and maintains your life. There is no searching of his understanding because your life is not a problem to solve but a revelation of the eternal you. When you relax into this, you awaken as if from sleep: you feel a steady, inexhaustible intelligence guiding you, not outside you but as your own awareness. The sense of limitation dissolves as you realize you are always seen, always known, by the very womb of consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and revise the belief: My way is not hidden; the I AM within me knows my path and guides every moment. Feel the steady energy of God supporting you in the present.
