Inner Fire of Judgment
Isaiah 34:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Isaiah 34:2-3 describes God's indignation toward nations and their armies, resulting in their destruction and decay. It presents a stark image of slain beings and ruined landscape as the outward sign of inner conflict.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your seeing the indignation of the LORD upon all nations is your awareness turning to the battlefield of your own mind. The armies are the clashing thoughts, the worn-out roles you still defend. When you feel utterly destroyed in memory, you are not being punished; you are being invited to let those old structures die. The slain and the stink are the result of clinging to fear-based impressions; the mountains melted with their blood are the rigid attachments melted by the fire of pure consciousness. This text is not about outer conquest; it is about inner reorganization. Watch as you cease to identify with the battle and begin to identify with the I AM that witnesses it. In God and you, the judgment you fear becomes a mercy that clears the field so a new form can emerge. Practice: assume a state that aligns with your preferred outcome as already real; revise every scene that contradicts it; feel it real in the chest and imagine the tableau dissolving into peace. Then you will see the world respond in kind.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and feel the I AM within. Assume the desired state as already true and let the inner battle dissolve.
