Inner Lord: Judge, Lawgiver, King Within
Isaiah 33:22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 33 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The LORD stands as judge, lawgiver, and king; He will save us.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the LORD not as a distant deity, but as the state of awareness you carry within. In this moment, the judge is your capacity to discern thoughts and feelings without fear; the lawgiver is the conviction that you can decree what you allow to occupy your mind; the king is the sovereign presence that rules your inner atmosphere. When you identify with this triune function—the observer, the ruler, the governor—you choose a new pattern of experience. Salvation, then, is not a change of external conditions but a correction in your inner governance. As you recognize that the I AM is the source of judgment, legislation, and rulership, you stop outsourcing authority to the world and begin to act from inner certainty. Your circumstances align to reflect the sovereign decision of this inner government. The 'save us' becomes the spontaneous outcome of your inner order: you are saved from fear, confusion, and fragmentation as you dwell in the certainty that you, not external events, are the Lord of your mind.
Practice This Now
Assume the state now. Silently declare 'I am the LORD of my mind—the judge, the lawgiver, and the king' and feel the authority settling within; imagine the inner throne radiating calm as life follows.
