Isaiah 26:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Isaiah 26:3 promises perfect peace to the mind fixed on the divine Presence and trusting in it. It is an inner state of consciousness rather than a temporary feeling.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of Isaiah 26:3 as a map of the inner state: perfect peace is not a weather from outside, but a condition of consciousness when your attention remains upon the I AM, the inner Presence you are. To stay the mind on the Presence is to acknowledge that God is here as your awareness, and trust arises as a natural posture of that awareness. When you steady attention on the I AM, the fluctuations of fear and hurry lose power, for you are no longer chasing outer circumstances; you are dwelling in the assurance that all is already complete in consciousness. The feeling of peace is the lasting residue that remains when you stop seeking elsewhere; it is the result of a sustained assumption that you are one with the Divine Presence. The verse does not command peace from outside; it invites you to assume it as your immediate state and trust its reality until it becomes your lived experience. So, you revise doubt by declaring, I am at peace, for I am the I AM.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Sit quietly, fix your attention on I AM, and repeat softly, 'I am peace.' Let the sense of being held by the Presence deepen for a minute; then carry that feeling into your next ordinary moment.
