Inner Shaking and Conscious Fear
Isaiah 24:17-20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Fear, pits, and snares loom for the earth's inhabitants; attempting to flee fear leads into pits, and the earth shakes under habitual belief. The verse invites you to notice how your inner states construct your world.
Neville's Inner Vision
Fear and upheaval are not hidden in a distant land; they are the states you entertain within your own consciousness. When you flee the noise of fear you slip into a pit, and when you strain to escape one pit you are snagged by the next belief. The windows from on high are opened not by weather from above but by a fresh light entering your awareness, showing that the trembling earth is your inner reaction to old thoughts. The moving ground mirrors the wobble of identities insisting on separation; the transgression you call sin is simply a shift of attention away from your true I AM, your permanent consciousness. Returning to that inner presence dissolves pit and snare, and the world reorganizes to reflect a higher sense of being. The invitation is to live from the assumption that you already possess the power to revise experience through imagination, and to feel that revision as real until outer conditions reflect your new inner state. In short, the fear you fear is your awakening to creative sovereignty that you already hold.
Practice This Now
Impose a simple revision now: I AM the steady consciousness; fear is not my reality, but a passing sensation in the mind I now control. Close your eyes and feel the certainty that the new inner state is already here, and allow your outward scene to adjust to that felt shift.
