Inner Fires and Tides
Isaiah 24:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 24 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
It invites praise to the LORD even where conditions seem fiery or distant. It frames true worship as an inward alignment with divine presence, not merely outward ritual.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this brief call, the fires and the isles are not external theaters but your inner states. When you read, 'glorify ye the LORD in the fires,' you are being asked to assert the I AM as your permanent identification in the midst of sensation, fear, or lack. The 'name of the LORD God of Israel' is not a distant label but an assumed, lived consciousness. To glorify is to act from the awareness that you are one with that divine nature, even where appearances scream otherwise. The 'presence' implies unity with the divine. The sea and the isle symbolize distance and separation; yet in the inward sense of I AM, there is no distance. The verse commands you to keep your attention anchored in the Presence, letting the inner reality outshine the outer circumstance. When you repeat, feel, and dwell in 'I AM the LORD,' you redraw the script, converting the fiery trial into a proving ground for conviction. The outer world becomes a reflection of your inner alignment, not the ruler of your state.
Practice This Now
Assume you are the I AM in every fire; revise fear by stating, 'I am the LORD present now,' and feel the divine presence fill you as you breathe.
