Road to Unity Across Nations
Isaiah 19:23-24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 19 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage envisions a day when Egypt and Assyria are linked by a shared path, and Israel stands with them as a blessing in the land.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine that the highway is not a road through deserts but a path of consciousness linking formerly separate energies within you. Egypt and Assyria stand for powerful, ancient tendencies—fear and pride, habit and control—now invited to travel together rather than clash. When the words say they shall serve with one another, interpret that as your inner faculties supporting each other under a higher purpose. The third, Israel, is the I AM awareness that watches and blesses; it is the steady, unifying principle that makes distinct energies co-operate. If you dwell in that state, you do not wait for peace to arrive; you become the very condition of peace by assuming it now. The result is a transformation of your inner climate, which follows into your outer life: relationships soften, projects align, and a sense of blessing appears at the center of the land you inhabit. Practice this as a standing assumption: 'There is a highway of unity now, and all energies serve the whole,' and remain attentive to the feeling quality of harmony in your chest.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and picture the highway forming between two inner energies. Say, 'There is a highway of unity now,' and feel the harmony as if it already exists.
