Lamb to the Ruler Within
Isaiah 16:1-2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 16 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
You are urged to present a pure intention to the inner ruler, guiding your awareness from desolate places toward Zion. The image of the wandering bird signals how scattered thoughts are moving toward a turning point.
Neville's Inner Vision
The verse invites us to treat the lamb not as a separate object but as the purity of our desire offered to the I AM who rules within. Sending the lamb to the ruler is a mental act of allegiance—an assumption that the inner governor is governing the scene of your life. The journey from Sela to the wilderness and toward Zion represents a shift in consciousness from fixed places to the holy ground of awareness where all things are real in imagination first. The image of Moab’s daughters wandering at the Arnon speaks to thoughts and identities that have drifted; their dispersion signals a natural clearing as you settle your mind under the I AM. Exile is not punishment but a stage in the reordering of your inner world. When you maintain this inner alignment, the outer world rearranges to reflect the new ruler you have chosen to heed. In this light, prophecy becomes a map of inner return: your consciousness moves toward Zion, and reality follows as you dwell in the I AM.
Practice This Now
Practice: Assume the feeling that the inner ruler is already governing your life. Declare, 'I send the lamb to the ruler within,' and visualize the lamb traveling from a barren place to the mount of Zion, while you rest in the I AM's calm authority.
