Desolate Waters Within Moab
Isaiah 15:6-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Isaiah 15 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The waters of Nimrim are desolate; hay withers and there is no green. Moab's abundance is carried away, cries ring around the borders, and Dimon's waters run red.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of the desolation described as your inner state. The waters of Nimrim are dry because your imagination has not yet invoked life into form; the hay is withered as a belief in lack persists. The abundance that Moab has gathered and carries away maps your habit of clinging to appearances rather than the reality of consciousness. The cries around Moab are inner voices that warn you of failure when you forget who you are. The blood in Dimon’s pool and the pursuing lions signal fears that arise when you identify with lack. But the I AM within you remains untouched by such appearances. In this moment you can revise the scene by assuming the feeling of the fulfilled wish. See streams of living water weaving through Nimrim, green grass blooming where drought seemed permanent, and abundance pouring into every corner of your life. Hold this vision and feel it as real, so the outer signs align with your inner certainty. The external world answers to the elevation of your inner awareness, not the other way around.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and repeat 'I AM abundance now'; imagine Nimrim filled with living water, green grass, and plenty. Hold the image for several breaths and let the feeling of it-real linger.
