Inner Fixed Purpose Revealed

Isaiah 14:26-27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 14 in context

Scripture Focus

26This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
27For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
Isaiah 14:26-27

Biblical Context

God has a fixed purpose for the whole earth, stretched as a hand over the nations, and nothing can overturn it.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice that this decree speaks not of distant lands but of your inner end. The whole earth is the field of your awareness, and the hand that is stretched out is the silent, steady action of God within your thinking. The LORD of hosts is the I AM that wells up as you, and when such purpose is purposed, no voice of doubt, no event in your life, can annul it. The question 'who shall disannul it?' is your invitation to silence resistance and to align with the end that is already established in consciousness. Therefore you are not 'waiting' for God to act; you are the act of God, the imagineer who, by assumption, turns the hand toward fulfillment. Every situation is an invitation to revise with the end in view, to feel the wish already realized, and to dwell in the state that makes it so. Persist in the inner sense, and outward form must yield to your inner orientation.

Practice This Now

Take 2 minutes to silently claim, 'I am the I AM; this inner purpose is mine and cannot be thwarted.' Then revision: imagine a specific scene where your end is realized, and feel it as real in the present.
