Inner Decree Unshakable

Isaiah 14:24-27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Isaiah 14 in context

Scripture Focus

24The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
25That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulders.
26This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
27For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
Isaiah 14:24-27

Biblical Context

God’s purpose is fixed and universal. He will break the oppressor and lift the burden, establishing his plan across the earth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you the I AM has sworn its own decree, and its word is the law by which you live. The outer Assyrian you fear, your doubt, habit, or seeming obstacle, represents an inner resistance that must bow to the inner will. When you acknowledge that the Lord of hosts is your own awareness, you discover that the mountains, the nations, and the yoke are not outside you but stages of your own consciousness. The verse speaks of a purpose fixed in the whole earth, and that same purpose is stretched out in your moment now as a living power to rearrange scenes. If you dwell in the conviction that you are the one who has thought and purposed a relief, the appearance must yield; the burden departs as you hold the end in mind and refuse to revise downward. This is not prophecy to fear but a call to awaken to your sovereign sense. Your task is to feel the end as present tense, to imagine a reality where the yoke is gone and the burden light.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the end: the yoke is broken, the burden gone. Stay with that feeling for a few minutes, then let your day align with the new inner state.
