Inner Work of Isaiah 10:11-12
Isaiah 10:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God will judge Jerusalem’s idols just as He judged Samaria’s idols. When His work is complete on Zion, the prideful king of Assyria will have the fruit of his stout heart exposed and chastened.
Neville's Inner Vision
Observe the verse as a map of your inner theatre. Samaria’s idols are the opinions you worship in place of the I AM; Jerusalem’s idols are the attachments you pretend will secure your life. The Lord performing His work upon Zion and Jerusalem is the moment your awareness finishes a cycle of inner alignment, when you stop chasing outer results and begin to inhabit the state of God consciousness. The 'fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria' is the stubborn ego-image that claims you are apart from your fountain of life. Its 'glory'—the loudness of self-importance—stands in your field until you revise. The punishment spoken of is not punishment from a distant judge, but the inner consequences of not recognizing your true nature. As you assume the healed state and feel it real in imagination, you dissolve the idols by sheer attention. Your mind shifts from restless striving to the quiet certainty that I AM, and the inner city ( Zion ) shines with a new light.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, place your attention at the center of your chest and declare, 'I AM the Lord of this mind; I see all idols and release them now.' Then image Zion within you as a radiant city and feel the freed joy of your true nature.
