This is not a future judgment but your inner weather when you forget your source. You are the I AM, and when you identify with lack or fear, your inner garden withers and you seem to bear only the memory of fruit that never ripens. The verse invites a reversal: return to awareness, assume the living fact of oneness, and revise the sense of separation. If you imagine your mind as a land that can be nourished, you begin to see the promised return: the root drinks anew, energy surges, and fruit appears where there had been none. The mechanism is simple and universal: belief precedes experience. So, choose now to identify with the unchanging you—the I AM—rather than with appearances that cast you out. In imagination, let the prodigal nation come home to its creator, and feel the divine reconciliation as your everyday reality.
