Biblical Context
Hosea 12:10-14 says God spoke through prophets, giving visions and signs; yet Israel clung to vanity and outward ritual. Ultimately, inner prophetic guidance leads to deliverance from bondage.
Neville's Inner Vision
God speaks through you as you listen with the ear of awareness. The 'visions' and 'similitudes' are not distant events but movements of your own consciousness, the way your I AM reveals what you are choosing to believe. Hosea asks you to notice the vanity of turning to external ritual (Gilgal, altars in furrows) when your worship is inward alignment with truth. Jacob’s wandering and Israel’s servitude represent interior states of slipping away from the true center of your being. Yet the line 'by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt' is your own inner rescue: when you acknowledge the inner prophet—your higher awareness—you are led out of bondage to limitation. Ephraim’s provocation to anger mirrors the stubborn beliefs that resist the healing frequency of God within. The outcome is that the reproach returns to the source, urging you back into alignment. The message, precise and luminous: God’s intent is to awaken your consciousness, not to reward external rites. Your deliverance is here, now, as you listen within and live from the I AM.
Practice This Now
Assume the shift: you are already out of Egypt, living in the awareness that I AM is within. Sit with the feeling: visions and similitudes are already moving inside you now.
