Covenant Love Drawn
Hosea 11:4-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Hosea 11 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God speaks of drawing Israel with cords of love and feeding them, yet warns that refusing to return results in oppression and judgment from foreign powers.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice how the speaker names not a distant judge but a living I AM, the awareness within you that refuses to abandon the seed of wholeness. The cords of a man symbolize the inner relationships you attend to—implied habits, loyalties, and promises you accept in your mind. The bands of love are the irresistible motions of God-consciousness drawing you toward your true state. When you feel the yoke loosen and the food of understanding laid to you, you are simply waking to the realization that your life is not governed by outward powers (Egypt, Assyria) but by the decisions of your inner state. If you persist in the old pattern—the belief that you are ruled by external kingdoms—the sword and burning of your cities appear as the natural outcome of those counsels. But in truth, every division, every storm, is the movement of your own mind shifting toward a higher alignment. See yourself as already in right relationship to the I AM, and let the "return" be the moment you fall back into the awareness that you are loved, fed, and free.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly, repeat 'I am drawn by the cords of love and fed by divine abundance,' feel the yoke releasing, and picture the sword turning into a boundary of light guarding your inner kingdom.
