Inner Presence of the Sacrifice
Hebrews 9:24-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Hebrews 9 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Christ enters the true heavenly presence for us, not the earthly holy places. He offers a once-for-all sacrifice to put away sin.
Neville's Inner Vision
Rise in consciousness: Hebrews 9:24–26 is not describing places in stone, but the inner sanctuary where your I AM stands in the light of God. Christ's appearance there is the awareness of your own being as the beloved of God, entered once for all into the presence that you are. The elimination of sin is not a future event but a present revision of your self-identity: in imagination you cease to identify with lack or guilt and accept yourself as forgiven by the self-same sacrifice of your I AM. The figures of the true are the outward rituals that once guided you; now you live from the inward certainty that God’s eye is always on you, that your life is hid with Christ in God. The end of the world is your old story ending, as you realize sin has no power over your awakened state. When you dwell in this presence, you are not waiting for salvation—you are already saved, in consciousness, here and now.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine stepping into a bright inner chamber where God is present. Feel the I AM affirming you as forgiven now.
