Old Covenant Fades, Inner Covenant Rises
Hebrews 8:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The old covenant is made old and ready to vanish. A new inner covenant is ready to unfold within your awareness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within this verse, recognize that you are not changing an external rule but entering a higher state of consciousness. The first covenant you once served is now decaying because you no longer live by it; you turn instead to the new covenant inscribed in your own I AM. The old order fades as you acknowledge that your true relation to God is the awareness by which all life is known. In Neville's terms, the outer commandments are shadows of the inner law, and when you cease from chasing them, you discover the living agreement already established in you. The new covenant is a renewal of creation that begins in consciousness: that which you imagine with the I AM is what becomes. The decay of the old is not punishment but invitation to shift your entire identification to the I AM, to live as though the new reality is already present. By remaining in that awareness, you witness the old system dissolve, and the inner, self-sustaining order rise in place of the former.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise by declaring, 'I AM the new covenant now,' dwelling in the feeling that the old order is dissolving. Hold that feeling until you sense the entire field of awareness renewed.
