Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God spoke in these last days through His Son, the heir of all things, by whom He made the worlds. The Son is the brightness of God's glory, the express image of His person, upholding all things by the word of His power, and after purging our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the 'Son' in these lines is not a distant person but the living state of your own consciousness. The phrase 'heir of all things' is the inner assurance that in God you possess all, for there is no separation in true being. Through this inner Word, the worlds are formed; the outer scene is a reflection of the life you imagine and accept as true. The 'brightness of His glory' and the 'express image of His person' appear in you when you identify with your divine nature, not as a future hope but as your present self. 'Upholding all things by the word of His power' is the power you wield with a thought, a sentence, a perception—your imagination sustaining your experience. Purging sins is the casting out of mistaken beliefs and guilt; sitting down at the right hand of the Majesty on high is your awareness resting in the throne of God within, where you rule by the Word you have imagined and accepted as true.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state: I am the heir of all things; through me, the worlds are formed. Feel-it-real by repeating, 'I sit at the right hand of Majesty' and let the inner Word uphold every experience.
