Biblical Context
God declares a future period of shaking that will reorder heaven and earth. Then the house of God will be filled with greater glory, and peace will dwell there.
Neville's Inner Vision
These verses are a translation of your inner state. The shaking of heaven and earth is the tremor of old ideas leaving, a turning of attention from lack to the I AM that you are. The 'desire of all nations' comes not from outside you but as your deepest longing awakening to consciousness itself, drawing all you need into your inner temple. 'The silver is mine, and the gold is mine' is the reminder that all supply flows from your awareness, not from external measures. The promise that the latter house will be greater than the former points to a richer realization of your true nature; as you cultivate the awareness that God is within, the outward world reflects a greater glory and a lasting peace. The presence of God is not distant but the very act of awareness you awaken in each moment; you become the temple, and the temple reveals the kingdom of God within.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, repeat I AM as your only awareness, and revise any sense of separation. Then imagine a temple within you filling with radiant light and feel the peace as your present reality.
