The Inner Net of Provision
Habakkuk 1:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse presents a scene of beings caught and gathered by nets, followed by rejoicing. Read as a symbol, it points to how wealth, work, and provision arise first as inner states, not merely external circumstances.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you, 'they' are the facets of your own consciousness that try to secure life by nets and drag. The angle and drag are not external instruments but habitual thoughts that trap you in measuring, chasing, and collecting outcomes. When you stand as I AM—awareness that gives life to all images—you see that wealth, provision, and meaningful work emerge from the state you assume. The captured fish become symbols of ideas, opportunities, and talents you have already gathered in your inner life. Rejoicing is your inner confirmation that the end you sought is already present in imagination; outward events merely reflect that inner certainty. Thus the verse invites a reversal: rather than pursuing nets, revise your state of consciousness until it feels real that you already possess what you desire. Your vocation then ceases to be a struggle and becomes a clear expression of your inner abundance.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and declare, 'I am provision now.' Feel the sensation of inner abundance expanding and see your work and finances as already secured in your imagination.
