Biblical Context
Joseph tells his brothers that he is dying, but God will visit them and lead them from their current land to the promised one, according to the covenant with their forefathers. He also makes them swear to carry his bones.
Neville's Inner Vision
Joseph’s words are not a history lesson, but a blueprint for inner transformation. The death he speaks of is the old state of limitation, yet he anchors the scene with the assurance that God will surely visit you. The land he names is the awakened state of consciousness wherein the I AM recognizes itself as freedom; the covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob becomes your inner contract—the enduring sense that your being is already joined to promise. When Joseph asks his brothers to carry his bones, he teaches you to remain faithful to the covenant while you move, in imagination, to the new country. The bones symbolize the memory of the Divine decree that cannot die; you keep it not in tombs of flesh but in the memory of your heart, and the visitation arrives: the inner exodus from fear to assurance, from lack to abundance. Trust the inner sign: God will visit you and you will be led out of your current land into the promised one, and you will bring your 'bones' with you as memory, not material remains.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already dwelling in the promised land; feel the I AM visiting you within, guiding you out of limitation. Rehearse the decree: 'God will visit me and bring me out,' and carry this memory as your persistent oath until it becomes your lived experience.
