Answering The Inner Call
Genesis 24:55-60 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Genesis 24 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Rebekah's family delays her departure, the servant asserts the Lord has prospered his way, and she agrees to go with him. She is blessed and becomes part of a larger covenant.
Neville's Inner Vision
On the screen of imagination, the scene declares that delay is only a habit of mind, not a law. The servant speaks to your inner I AM: the Lord hath prospered my way. When the plea hinder me not arises, know it is your old self resisting the new, and you revoke it by I AM awareness. The command to go to my master is your soul choosing the path your consciousness has already embraced. Rebekah’s answer I will go is the inner consent you utter in silence, and the blessing spoken over her becomes your inner assurance that you are sister to a larger covenant and that your seed of ideas shall possess the gate of fear. As you align with this inner covenant, you move from waiting to doing, your imagined future pulling you forward. The I AM moves you; your world follows that movement, prospering in accordance with the belief you hold.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly and assume the feeling that your way is prospered. Imagine yourself answering yes to your inner master now and feel that blessing become your reality.
