Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Hagar, fleeing into the wilderness by a fountain, encounters the angel of the LORD who commands her to return to Sarai and submit, and prophesies a greatly multiplied seed and the birth of Ishmael, a child who will be wild and yet connected to his people.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine the scene as your own inner landscape. The wilderness is your current sense of separation; the fountain is the living source of awareness within you. The angel of the LORD is the I AM speaking through your imagination, asking you where you came from and where you will go, inviting you to examine your old alignments. When you confess you flee from limitation, the guidance answers: Return to thy mistress—the inner Law you have forgotten, yield to its hands, and let your attention be governed by the divine pattern rather than by fear. Then comes the blessing: I will multiply thy seed exceedingly—the ideas and goals you maintain in imagination will proliferate, not by effort but by the natural law of consciousness. Behold, thou art with child—conceive a new state of being; thou shalt bear a son and call his name Ishmael, for the LORD hath heard thy affliction. This wild energy, rightly claimed, will dwell with all your brethren—the inner family of your thoughts—expressing as your new conditions when you refuse to doubt. Your inner world now matches the vision of God hearing you.
Practice This Now
Assume the state: I am the I AM, returning to my inner law now. Feel it real by standing by a fountain in your imagination and declaring that you are heard, guided, and fruitful in your inner seed.
