Inner Exodus: Judgment and Substance

Genesis 15:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Genesis 15 in context

Scripture Focus

14And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.
Genesis 15:14

Biblical Context

Genesis 15:14 declares that the oppressor nation will be judged and, afterward, the people will depart with great substance.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within this verse I see the oppressing nation as a state of consciousness I have entertained: oppression, lack, fear. The judgment God promises is a turning of that inner wheel, not punishment of others, but the clearing away of a dream-like power. When I affirm I am the I AM, that awareness judges the old belief and loosens its hold. Then I go out from bondage into great substance—the abundant life that follows a shift in seeing. The exodus is an inner migration: from identification with suffering to identification with the living I AM. The great substance I now perceive is not merely external wealth, but the rich life of realization, health, and fulfilled desire that flows from creative imagination. Thus the verse becomes a practical method: revise the inner scene, feel it real, and let the world reflect the revised consciousness. Oppression fades as I claim the sovereignty of my own awareness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, rest in the I AM, revise the inner scene to I have come out with great substance, and feel the freedom and abundance as if it is already real.
