Genesis 13:14

Biblical Context

God tells Abram to lift his eyes and survey the land in every direction from where he stands after Lot departs. This marks a shift from limitation to expansive possibilities rooted in inner vision.

Neville's Inner Vision

To one who hears the voice of the LORD, Abram’s command is your invitation to a conversion of awareness. Lift up your eyes and survey the land not as a map of geography but as a map of states of consciousness—north, south, east, west—each a possible condition you may enter by choosing and feeling it real. After Lot’s separation, the external scene loosens so you may trust the inner order: the covenant loyalty is to the I AM within, the unalterable awareness that you are already provided for. The land Abram sees is the realization that the future you seek is already present as consciousness. Providence guides you as you align with your higher self; your outer circumstances will follow the inner alignment. When you dwell in that inner vision, the future becomes visible because imagination is the power that creates reality. The moment is a revision of belief: you are not seeking a place, you are becoming the place in your mind.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and say, 'I AM the I AM; I see my life as present.' Then rest in the feeling of that reality for a few minutes, surveying your inner landscape as if you already stand in the promised land.
