Biblical Context
Six men with weapons enter the city, one man clothed in linen with an inkhorn, and the glory of the God of Israel moves to the threshold of the house.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your day is Ezekiel’s inner council. The six men with slaughter weapons are the six states of consciousness armed with fear, control, memory, doubt, pride, and need—each stepping forward to see what you still permit in your city. The linen-clad man with the writer's inkhorn is your imagination, bearing a fresh decree that can rewrite the altar of your heart. When the glory of the God of Israel lifts from the cherub to the threshold, it is your awareness shifting from old identifications toward a space where a higher presence may enter. The call to the man with linen marks a decision: you draw near to the inner city, you confront what you have tolerated, and you allow the new to stand where the old rules once stood. The arrival of a new presence is not punishment but a release of space by your I AM; your true I, your consciousness, so that a truer state can enter. You are both the judge and the sanctuary keeper; by assuming a new state and feeling it real, you invite the light of your desired life to inhabit the inner temple.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Assume the state you desire as already true; feel the presence enter now and dwell there, revising fear into the reality of your chosen state.
