Facing the Mountains Within
Ezekiel 6:2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse commands the prophet to turn his face toward the mountains of Israel and prophesy against them.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Ezekiel is to awaken in you the awareness that the world you see is a creation of your own inner state. The mountains of Israel represent fixed conditions of your mind you have accepted as real. When you set your face toward them, you choose a posture of consciousness—an assumption—that determines what you will attend to in yourself. Prophesying against them is not a forecast of doom, but a declaration that those old creeds and circumstances exist for you to outgrow. Your I AM, the inner witness, does the prophesying by insisting on a different outcome. By imagining the end you desire—health, peace, success—as already present, you dislodge the old form and birth a new condition in your life. The moment you hold that vision in the I AM, you begin to act from it, and the outer scene begins to rearrange to align with it.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Close your eyes, fix your inner gaze on a present mountain of Israel in your mind, declare the end as already real, and feel the answer already real in your awareness.
