Inner Temple Cleansing Vision
Ezekiel 5:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Ezekiel speaks of defiling the sanctuary and harsh judgment; the inner parallel is that unclean consciousness yields contraction, while cleansing the inner temple renews life.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Neville’s psychology, the sanctuary you defile is your own state of awareness. When detestable thoughts and habitually ingrained stories occupy the mind, your inner temple grows weak and diminishes. God, the I AM within, is not an external judge but your unshakeable being. The terrible image of a third dying, a third scattered, is the natural arithmetic of clinging to fears, guilt, and separate self-conceptions. As you realize that you imagine your world, you can reverse the apparent consequences by choosing a new state. Hear the declaration: 'As I live, I AM'—and insist that your sanctuary remains pure because you choose higher alignment in every moment. The pestilence and famine dissolve when you revise the unconscious narrative to one of wholeness and unity with the I AM. The sword that follows becomes a tool of discernment, cutting away false beliefs rather than destroying your essence. In this light, judgment is a turning inward, a correction of your states until your life conforms to your renewed awareness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe to the center, and assume the I AM as the sole reality of your mind. Revise any defiling thought by declaring, 'You are not real here,' and feel the temple become bright and intact.
