Ezekiel 45:9

Biblical Context

The verse commands the princes of Israel to remove violence and spoil, to judge with justice, and to take away exactions from the people.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within Ezekiel's oracle you hear the call to inner governance. The Lord GOD is the I AM you are aware of, and the princes of Israel are the ruling states of your mind: one crowned with self-importance, another with fear, another with appetite for power. The command to remove violence and spoil and to execute judgment and justice is a command to revise your inner atmosphere so that no act of domination or extortion remains in your field of awareness. When you acknowledge this inner governor as your true self, you stop outsourcing justice to external authorities and begin to enact it within. You judge not by outward power but by alignment with the universal law of fairness, letting exactions fall away from your mind's people as you replace coercion with lawful love. Your imagination becomes the court; your feeling becomes the verdict; and the new decree flows as the current of life itself, restoring harmony to every part of your inner land.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the inner governor is in session; declare, 'I am the justice of God within; I remove violence and exactions,' and feel the new order settling as real in your chest.
