Inner Priesthood of Presence

Ezekiel 44:15-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 44 in context

Scripture Focus

15But the priests the Levites, the sons of Zadok, that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to minister unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:
16They shall enter into my sanctuary, and they shall come near to my table, to minister unto me, and they shall keep my charge.
Ezekiel 44:15-16

Biblical Context

Ezekiel 44:15–16 describes the Zadokite priests who kept charge of God's sanctuary, approaching to minister and entering His sanctuary and table, thereby maintaining covenant loyalty.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within Ezekiel’s vision, the Zadokite priests are a state of consciousness—loyal to the I AM in me. I keep charge of my sanctuary by refusing to abandon awareness when others wander; I stand before God as the I AM and minister unto Him with the fat and blood of my full attention—the total investment of my thoughts and feelings. When I enter the sanctuary and come near to the table in imagination, I am not performing a ritual but choosing my inner atmosphere. My covenant loyalty is a steady, unshakable sense of presence; holiness becomes simply the way I live—separated from doubt by the certainty that God is now. The presence of God is not somewhere else; it is the very act of awareness that I am.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, declare in the present tense, 'I am entering the sanctuary of my mind and sit at God's table now,' and feel the presence as real as your next breath for five minutes.
