Inner Door to Holy Presence
Ezekiel 41:2-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 41 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage describes an outer door that is measured and then inward steps that culminate in the statement that this inward space is the most holy place.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider the door and its measurements as the structure of your own consciousness. The breadth and length of the door mirror the limits you accept about life; when you go inward and measure the doorpost and the chamber, you are calibrating your state of awareness. The proclamation that this is the most holy place marks a turning point: holiness is not a distant temple but the presence you carry within your I AM. God, for Neville, is the I AM awareness you awaken by imagination. The act of stepping through the door is a shift of attention from outer appearances to inner reality. The measurements become revisions of belief: as you accept a larger inner sanctuary, you expand what you can hold as divine presence. To worship truly you must dwell in that space, feeling the presence as real and continuous. Imagination creates reality, so the inner sanctuary you inhabit now becomes your outward life.
Practice This Now
Assume the inner sanctuary is your present state; close your eyes, breathe, and dwell there; feel the divine presence as real by repeating I AM and imagining the space filling you.
