Inner Gathering and Sanctification
Ezekiel 39:27-28 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 39 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God gathers the people from enemy lands and sanctifies them before the nations. In that gathering, they come to know the LORD as their God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine the passage as a manual for your inner life. The 'they' are the scattered portions of your consciousness—fear, doubt, desire, regret—taken into the 'enemy' lands of limitation. When you assume a return, you are gathering those fragments into the country of your I AM, the sovereign ground of awareness. The sanctification is not outside ritual but the inner alignment where you refuse to let old beliefs govern you; you stand before the 'nations' of thought and declare, I am the LORD, my God—meaning I am awareness itself, awake to its own rules. The captivity was only a belief in separation; the act of gathering is the change of state, the realization that you have always been led by a loving, guiding consciousness and now return home. As you inhabit this consciousness, you radiate a certainty that convinces others of what you know inside, that divinity is within and governs every event. God is the I AM within, arranging all movements into harmony.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are already gathered in your own land; feel I AM sanctifying you; repeat silently, 'I am gathered, I am home,' until this becomes your felt sense.
