Sanctified By Inner Confrontation
Ezekiel 38:16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 38 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God declares He will allow an invader to threaten His people so that the nations may know Him; the sanctification occurs through the event itself as a demonstration of divine power.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this passage the land stands for your state of consciousness, and Gog embodies the stubborn image or fear that rises to test your certainty. The cloud that covers the land is the appearance of conflict, yet its purpose is holy: it exposes the I AM within you and sanctifies it through the experience. The reference to latter days and to the invader reveals what you already are in consciousness—the I AM who sanctifies and reveals God in form. When the apparent invader approaches, you are not threatened; you are invited to witness the power of awareness to transform appearances. The nations' knowledge of God becomes your own inner witnessing: as you hold the vision of divine presence, fear dissolves and the inner light asserts sovereignty. The phrase 'before their eyes' points to your inner eyesight, where you observe that God is truly sanctified in your life whenever you remain the I AM that governs the scene.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume 'I AM' is sanctifying every encounter. Feel it real as you watch the challenge dissolve into divine order.
