Biblical Context
God tells the watchman to warn the wicked from their way; if you fail to warn, their blood will be on your hands. If you warn and they do not turn, you have delivered your soul.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Ezekiel is a guide to the inner watchman. The wicked man is not a man outside but a state of mind that clings to fear, repetition, and self condemnation. The watchman who warns is the I AM in you speaking a new possibility into the current thought. To warn the wicked is to declare a path of turning as already complete in consciousness. The moment you say the turn is possible, you give form to a different outcome; if the outer results refuse to turn, that does not cancel your inner act. You have delivered your own soul by stating what must be stated, by refusing complicity with fear. The clause about blood on your hands dissolves when you see that your act of warning is internal discipline that frees you from guilt. Your deliverance comes as you dwell in the new state you named, trusting that the inner turning is real. This is not about controlling others but about asserting your own grandeur of awareness, the I AM that knows there is always a path of turning in every moment.
Practice This Now
Assume the inner watchman stance now. In your mind speak to the wicked thought pattern and declare that it shall turn from its way; then rest in the felt sense of the turn as already done.
