Inner Cleansing of Ezekiel 22:13-16
Ezekiel 22:13-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 22 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verses announce that God will judge dishonest gain and guilt, scatter the people among nations, cleanse impurity, and reveal that He is the LORD within them.
Neville's Inner Vision
Behold, the prophet speaks not of distant lands but of states of consciousness. Dishonest gain and the blood in the midst are the stubborn beliefs your mind clings to—greed, guilt, and the lure of outward reward. When I say I the LORD, I speak as the I AM in you, the awareness that will not tolerate a lie about who you are. The days that are spoken of are the days you decide to disidentify with those old motives; the moment you declare, 'enough, I choose truth.' I will scatter thee among the heathen and disperse thee among the countries, not as wrath but as the breaking of false attachments, until filthiness is removed from thee. In this cleansing you take thy inheritance in thyself—the riches of peace, integrity, and rightful purpose—revealed within consciousness. And thou shalt know that I am the LORD: when you align with the I AM, the outer signs fade and the inner king is crowned.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise: I am the I AM; dishonest motive dissolves in the light of my awareness. Feel yourself standing in the inheritance within, the LORD already awake in your mind.
