Awakening Through Turning: Ezekiel 18:27-28
Ezekiel 18:27-28 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Turning away from wrong and choosing what is lawful renews the self. In that inner turning, the soul is saved and life is renewed.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that Ezekiel does not condemn a distant sinner but describes a shift of consciousness. The 'wicked man' is a state of awareness, a thought-form in which you identify with lack, error, or limitation. When you turn away from that form and do what is lawful and right, you are not changing externals; you are re-identifying with a higher self—the I AM you already are. The turning away is revision in imagination: you refuse to feed the old story and replace it with a present-tense assumption of life, integrity, and alignment with your true nature. 'Considereth' means deliberate, careful attention to your inner picture; you examine the past and choose a new center of gravity. As you persist in this new state—feeling the reality of right action, seeing yourself living in harmony with law—you awaken; you live; you no longer die to the old self. The soul is saved by consciousness choosing anew, and so your whole being is revived by the faith you hold in your own I AM, here and now.
Practice This Now
Assume the living state of wholeness now: 'I am alive through turning toward right action.' Close your eyes, revise your self-image to reflect lawful living, and feel that new life as real.
