Ezekiel's Inner Judgment
Ezekiel 14:8-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 14 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God declares opposition to a state of separation, signaling that such a belief must be corrected so Israel returns to loyalty. The message is that ultimate alignment comes as consciousness chooses unity with the divine.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Ezekiel’s plain words, the 'man' and 'prophet' are states of the mind. When a belief of separation takes hold, the inner 'face' of God turns away from that state, not to punish you, but to awaken you to your true identity as I AM. The sign and proverb are the inner consequences that follow the investment in false authority. If you have spoken in trust to a deceived tendency, you discover that you have fed the illusion with your own words; the inner Governor—your awareness—do not abandon you, but stretches out its hand to remove the old belief from your midst. The punishment of the prophet and of him that sought him is the natural consequence of clinging to a counterfeit image; it teaches that the house of Israel cannot remain captive to transgressions when the consciousness chooses to return to unity. Thus, the Lord’s declaration is not mere doom but a waking into harmony, that you and your God may be one in truth and loyalty.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit in silence and assume the state 'I AM'. Revise every sense of separation by feeling that unity as already real, letting your thoughts align with the truth that you are God-expressed awareness.
