Inner Turn From Idols
Ezekiel 14:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Repentance calls Israel to turn away from idols and abominations. Clinging beliefs in the heart separate the soul from God.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Ezekiel, the call is not merely ritual but a transformation of consciousness. Idols are not carved images alone; they are patterns of belief you carry in your heart that pretend to stand between you and the I AM. When the command says repent and turn away your faces from all your abominations, it invites you to pivot your attention away from accustomed pictures of yourself and life. The stranger that sojourneth in Israel is the part of you still negotiating with ego, still asking external guides to speak for you. But once you separate from these inner idols, the only voice that remains is the Self—the I AM—speaking directly through your awareness. The stumbling block is the sense of guilt or limitation you place before your face; remove that, and the LORD answers by Himself, i.e., you recognize that God is your immediate consciousness, not a distant deity. Your inquiry then ceases to be a demand and becomes a moment of alignment, and becoming is your listening for the still, small current of truth within.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: In a moment of quiet, assume the I AM presence and revise the belief 'I must seek God somewhere outside' to 'I AM the one who answers me now,' feel it real.
