Inner Idolatry Of Ezekiel 14:3
Ezekiel 14:3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 14 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Those verses expose inward idols lodged in the heart and a visible stumbling block of iniquity. As long as these idols stand, true guidance cannot be sought or received.
Neville's Inner Vision
Let Ezekiel name the idol you carry: a belief you have granted reality in your inner life. The heart becomes the sanctuary, yet when a desire, fear, or self-image sits on its throne, the I AM cannot be consulted. The stumbling block of iniquity is the inner obstruction you mistake for truth. The question 'Should I be enquired of by them?' invites you to revise your state of consciousness until only the I AM stands as reality. If you choose to acknowledge the I AM as your sole face and ruler, the idol loses its claim; the inner temple clears, and guidance flows as a natural expression of now-consciousness. Practice turning attention away from the idol and toward the living presence within you; feel it real, and the imagined idol dissolves into awareness. You are the imaginer and the I AM; when you align these, you are guided from within, here and now.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM is the only reality and feel it real now; revise the inner picture by removing the idol and allowing the I AM to occupy your heart.
