Inner Covenant Return to God
Ezekiel 14:11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 14 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse declares that Israel must stop wandering from God and be cleansed of transgressions, so they may be God’s people and He may be their God.
Neville's Inner Vision
Israel is the inner state within you; going astray represents wandering attention away from the I AM. Pollution and transgressions are the clutter of fear, judgment, and separation that dissolve when you return to conscious unity. The phrases “my people” and “I may be their God” become an inner covenant: your awareness is God, and God is expressed through you as life. This is not punishment but a discipline of return to your true nature. By steadfastly choosing alignment with the I AM, you dissolve the perceived distance between self and Source, awakening a felt sense of mutual belonging. Your life then becomes the natural expression of this inner covenant, where imagination creates reality from the restored unity. The inner kingdom is realized as you embrace holiness not as rule, but as consistent loyalty to the one I AM that you truly are.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Sit quietly and say to yourself, 'I AM my God, I AM my people,' feeling this as your present state for a few minutes; gently guide any stray thought back to the I AM.
