Biblical Context
Ez 13:7 warns that people may present vain visions and lying divinations as if God spoke them. It exposes the danger of confusing inner thoughts with the voice of the Lord.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the stillness of the I AM you discover that any voice claiming to be the LORD which does not arise from awakened consciousness is a projection of fear, ego, or habit. A vain vision is a mind clinging to lack or status, speaking as though God sanctioned a state that never existed in truth. When a voice says, 'Thus says the LORD,' test its state of awareness; if it does not align with the I AM you are, that prophecy dissolves like fog. The remedy is not combat but revision: assume a truer inner state, one that is faithful to your divine identity. Speak from that inner certainty and watch the outward signs reflect the fidelity of your inner speech. You are judged by the accuracy of your inner words, not by outward predictions. When your inner dialogue is consistent with truth within, the imagined voice that claimed to be God yields to consciousness and your world begins to reflect a single, steadfast reality: your awakened I AM.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise any claim to speak for God by replacing it with 'I AM speaks truth within me.' Then imagine a vivid scene that embodies that true state and feel it real.
