Inner Times, Inner Vision

Ezekiel 12:26-27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ezekiel 12 in context

Scripture Focus

26Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
27Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off.
Ezekiel 12:26-27

Biblical Context

Israel says the vision is for many days to come; the Lord speaks to Ezekiel now, reminding him that prophecy is a present calling, not merely a distant forecast.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, this is not a timetable but a state of consciousness. The house of Israel represents a mind clinging to delay, while the word of the LORD is the I AM within inviting you to awaken to the truth that vision is already here. Prophecy is not a forecast of events in a distant era; it is a revelation unfolding in your awareness as you refuse to accept that it must come later. When you hear that the vision is for many days hence, notice the same resistance in your own mind whenever you imagine your goal as unreachable in this moment. The remedy is to align with the present I AM, to assume that the vision is now real, that the inner movement has already begun. By standing in that present state, you become both Ezekiel and the vision, and the future unfolds from your act of awakened consciousness.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Quietly revise the belief that the vision is far off to the present truth by affirming The vision is now unfolding in my present awareness; I AM the I AM that births it. Spend two minutes feeling it as real.
