Inner Gate of Imagination
Ezekiel 11:1-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ezekiel 11 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The prophet is taken to the east gate where leaders plot mischief; God declares judgment and reveals a future deliverance from the city’s furnace. The image of the caldron shows the mind’s heat and the inner movements that shape your reality, signaling that true change begins within.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your Ezekiel is invited to observe not a political council but the inner voices that play at the gate of your attention. The lifting spirit is your awakening I AM, the constant awareness that sees every motive you entertain. The twenty-five men symbolize the many thoughts you allow to speak for you when you say the trouble is out there, forgetting you are the witness who commands the scene. Here the city is a caldron and the flesh the roles you wear under fear; yet the Lord’s word comes to cut through illusion and remind you that the heat is not your boss but a signal to revise. The sword represents the shedding of false self-beliefs, and you are promised to be led out toward the border of Israel—the realm of your true kingly nature. When you own I AM as your reality, you step beyond the old kingdom and know that the I AM governs your inner world. You can rise by revising, believing, and feeling the new you now.
Practice This Now
Choose one limiting thought and revise it by declaring, 'I AM the I AM, now rewriting this scene,' and feel the truth as you imagine stepping through the inner gate into a new, fearless life.
