Biblical Context
Moses and Aaron are described as elderly when they speak to Pharaoh. The emphasis is that true readiness for mission comes from inside, not from outward age or timing.
Neville's Inner Vision
In Neville's reading, Moses and Aaron's ages indicate the maturity of the inner man who speaks through you. The 'Pharaoh' is the stubborn habit in your mind resisting your vocation; your inner God-vision craves expression and must be allowed to appear through an act of speech that alters what you experience. The outer act of confronting Pharaoh happens only after you have innerly assumed the state of one who already rules his domain. Providence shows up as a patient, precise sequencing of inner movements; when you settle into the feeling of your wish already done, the next scene lines up to make it real. The body's age is irrelevant to the act of assuming a new self—your point of power is now, the I AM that says: I am the one who speaks with authority. Practice obedience to that inner decree, and the world will rearrange itself to fit the image you hold.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the inner identity of one who speaks with authority. See the Pharaoh in your mind and feel the victory of your mission as already accomplished.
