Revealing the I AM Within
Exodus 7:5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Exodus 7:5 presents the LORD’s power to free Israel; the real deliverance is an inner shift in consciousness where fear and bondage are seen as transient, not ultimate reality.
Neville's Inner Vision
Exodus 7:5 speaks not of distant lands but of your inner kingdom. The Egyptians are the stubborn beliefs, fears, and identifications that keep you bound; the LORD is the I AM, the unchanging awareness within. When you stretch forth your hand upon Egypt—the deliberate act of attention, assumption, and feeling it real—you are not moving peoples or places; you are shifting the weather of your consciousness. The moment you persist in the awareness that you are the I AM, the power of deliverance unfolds and you awaken the children of Israel—the true self, free, whole, and guided by inner discernment. Deliverance then becomes interior: a revision of the mind’s script where bondage is seen as temporal and dependent on belief, not reality. As you dwell in the certainty that God, the I AM, is the source and sovereign of your life, providence becomes a natural alignment rather than a dream of luck. The Egypt dissolves when revelation is enacted within—your consciousness shifts and the world yields to a new center. In sum, the Pharaoh of fear vanishes as you recognize the LORD within and step into the fullness of your true self.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Assume you are already delivered; feel the liberty as a present fact. Then declare that you are the LORD of your life and visualize stepping out of the mental Egypt into your true self.
