Biblical Context
Exodus 37:3-5 describes the Ark being prepared with four gold rings and two staves on each side, with the staves overlaid with gold to carry the ark.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner ark is not a mere box of wood and gold apart from you; it is your living state of consciousness, in which the Presence dwells. The rings anchor your attention to the four corners of awareness, so the Presence can be carried wherever you go. The staves, overlaid with gold, are your imagining tools—your thoughts and feelings that support the carrying of the sacred. When you imagine the staves slipping into the rings, you are enacting true worship: a portable, stillness-filled movement of consciousness. Holiness becomes practical: you move through the day with the ark securely borne within you, not dependent on temple walls. Covenant Loyalty means fidelity to the I AM here and now; the ark travels because your inner state is aligned with the divine. If a fear or lack arises, revise to the feeling that you are the ark, and the presence goes wherever you attend with unwavering attention. The outer world then mirrors the inner arrangement of your inner sanctuary.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and imagine you are the Ark, carried by four corners of attention; see two rings on each side with staves sliding through them to bear you. Then renew the feeling that the Presence already travels with you, letting daily moments be worship by living from that consciousness.
