Exodus 34:33-34 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Exodus 34 in context

Scripture Focus

33And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.
34But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
Exodus 34:33-34

Biblical Context

Moses veils his face after speaking with the people. In God’s presence he removes the veil and speaks to them what he has been commanded.

Neville's Inner Vision

Moses’ veil is not a mere cover but a symbol of consciousness in action. When he is with the people, his face remains veiled, representing the protective outer stage through which divine truth passes before it can be shared under rightful authority. In the sacred moment he enters the LORD, the veil lifts, and the I AM within is free to speak exactly what is commanded. The inner life of a people becomes the visible word only when the self is aligned with the Source; your words carry authority not from personality but from the inner presence you choose to enter. You may sense you are veiled by doubt, habit, or fear when facing the world; you can also choose to turn, in stillness, toward God, and in that turning the veil dissolves and the authentic voice emerges. Practice this by assuming the state of being addressed by the LORD, allow the inner voice to dictate your next words, and speak as if under command of your own divine nature.

Practice This Now

Assume the state I am in the LORD's presence now. Feel the veil lift from your face and hear the inner voice speak the commanded truth within you.
