Exodus 31:3

Biblical Context

Exodus 31:3 speaks of God filling a builder with the Spirit—wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skilled workmanship. In Neville's view, this points to an inner state you can assume, not a distant historical act.

Neville's Inner Vision

Behold, not a distant craftsman, but your inner I AM returning to its workshop. The Spirit of God is your awakened consciousness, now integral, arranging thoughts with wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and workmanship. These are inner faculties you possess in potential; the verse says they are given, not earned, when you dwell in the state of I AM. In Neville’s terms, you are always the place where God speaks the word into form: imagination is the tool, and attention is the loom. When you assume this state, every problem becomes a design question, every choice a material to be shaped with discernment. Wisdom guides the plan, understanding reads the needs, knowledge supplies the details, workmanship manifests the form. Do not look for these gifts outside; see them as present in your consciousness, awaiting your assertion. The body and world respond to your inner decree, aligning conditions to match your assumed reality. Stay in the feeling of being filled, and let the outer life reflect that inner workshop.

Practice This Now

Assume the state now: I AM filled with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and workmanship. For the next 24 hours, whenever you face a task, revise your sense of self to this state and imagine the solution taking form.
